Original work in hernia and abdominal wall surgery is invited for oral, video and poster presentation. All abstracts are peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee.

Submission rules
- Abstracts must be original and not previously published or presented at an international meeting.
- The presenting author must be identified at submission and must register for the congress by the presenting-author deadline.
- A maximum number of submissions per presenting author may apply — TBA.
- Ethics or IRB approval must be stated for all clinical studies involving human participants.
- Trial registration number must be provided for prospective interventional studies.
- Case reports are accepted for poster presentation only.
- Patient-identifying information must be removed from all text, images and video.
- Conflicts of interest must be declared at submission and on the first presentation slide.
Review & awards
All abstracts undergo blinded peer review by at least two members of the Scientific Committee, scored on originality, methodology, clarity and relevance to the congress scope.
