The three registration periods are confirmed. The amounts below are a planning proposal prepared for the Organising Committee and have not been approved or published. Do not circulate these figures externally.
Rates are modelled directly on APHS 2024 Singapore (World Congress of Abdominal Wall Hernia Surgery, Suntec Singapore), which used a dual-currency structure — USD for international delegates and local currency at a discount for host-country delegates. International tiers are held at the 2024 Singapore level; Thai tiers are set proportionally to the local Singapore discount.

All delegate categories include refreshment breaks, lunches on congress days, congress materials, e-poster access and a digital certificate of attendance. CME accreditation TBA.
Payment
Accepted methods
- Online card payment — Visa, Mastercard, JCB, AMEX. 3-D Secure authentication required; please confirm your card is enrolled before registering.
- PromptPay QR — Thailand-resident delegates
- Bank transfer / telegraphic transfer — for institutional and group payments. Proof of transfer must be uploaded to the registration system, quoting the invoice reference. All bank charges are the payer's responsibility; the Secretariat must receive the net fee in full.
Receipts & tax documents
The payment receipt and tax invoice are attached to your delegate account and can be downloaded at any time. Please enter the payer's name and billing address exactly as required for reimbursement during registration — a receipt cannot be reissued in a different name after payment.
Whether a Thai tax invoice (ใบกำกับภาษี) is issued depends on the VAT status of the operating entity — TBA. Institutions applying withholding tax should contact the Secretariat before transferring.

- All cancellations and changes must be made in writing to the Congress Secretariat.
- Name changes are possible only for confirmed and fully paid registrations, and are permitted free of charge until 31 August 2027.
- Should a registered delegate be unable to attend for any reason, no further claim for reimbursement or waiving of fees can be made.
- Where a double payment or overpayment has occurred, an administrative fee applies to the refund.
- Refunds are processed after the congress to the original payment method. Bank and card processing charges are not refundable.
Force majeure
In the event of acts of God, government restriction, civil disorder, epidemic or pandemic, or any comparable condition beyond the control of the Organisers before the first day of the congress, the Organisers reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the congress.
Visa invitation letters
Issued at no charge once registration is paid in full. A letter of invitation does not guarantee a visa. See Venue & Travel.

Why hold international rates flat
The APHS Guidelines for Congresses require fees to "assure a profit of 20% in favour of APHS after reimbursement of all congress related items and not less than 10,000 USD". Cutting the international tier below the Singapore level puts that requirement at risk. Local affordability is addressed through the separate THB tier instead, exactly as Singapore did with SGD.
Executive Committee costs
The Local Organising Committee must fund air travel, hotel and registration for APHS Executive Committee members — at minimum the President, Past President, President-Elect, Secretary General and Treasurer — plus the official APHS prize expenses (Bassini, Stoppa, Cooper). Model these before fixing fees.
Payment processing
Thai gateways charge roughly 2.5–3.65% on cards and about 1.65% on PromptPay. At 600 delegates averaging THB 9,000 this is around THB 165,000. Build the merchant discount rate into the fee rather than absorbing it. Note the group discounts above reach 30% — model the worst case before approving them.
