We’re Taking Hernia Surgery Across Thailand

Before we gather at APHS 2027, we’re going on a journey.

From the mountains of the North to the shores of the South, Road to APHS 2027 will journey across Thailand — delivering focused teaching, in-depth case discussion and hands-on workshops nationwide.

This is not a single event.
It is a nationwide movement.

☄ Why We’re Traveling

Because excellence should not stay in one city.

Because surgical standards grow through shared experience.

Because APHS 2027 begins long before the congress.

Regional engagement
Hands-on learning
Open discussion
Raising the bar together

Campaign artwork

Official Road to APHS 2027 roll-up banners, 80 × 180 cm. These are the current approved versions, as screen-resolution PDFs for viewing and sharing. Host centres printing a banner should ask the Secretariat for the full-resolution file.

For the print-ready 80 × 180 cm files, editable artwork, alternative sizes or co-branding with a host centre logo, contact the Congress Secretariat.

What happens at each stop

  • Didactic lectures — short, focused talks on the decisions that determine an outcome, not case reports
  • Hands-on workshop — cadaveric or simulation work on the techniques taught that day
  • In-depth case discussion — real cases from the host region, openly debated
  • Expert dialogue — Thai Hernia Society faculty and one international speaker alongside local surgeons
  • Technique focus — TEP, TAPP, eTEP, IPOM/IPOM+ and complex abdominal wall repair
  • Trainee participation — dedicated time for residents and fellows

Detailed programmes for each city are published as they are finalised — the Khon Kaen programme is now online.

Host a stop or take part
